RN IV Services
About the role
The IV Services department at Baylor University Medical Center (Baylor Dallas), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. This position will assist with central venous line placement in non-critical care areas, perform peripheral and central venous lines throughout the facility, conduct IV checks and maintenance, and provide patient education for IV therapy and lines.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the placement of central venous lines in non-critical care areas
- Perform peripheral and other specialized lines throughout the facility
- Conduct IV checks and maintenance
- Provide outpatient IV treatments and transfusion-related procedures
- Offer patient education on IV therapy and lines
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Qualifications

Skills
Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in IV therapy are essential. Experience with various types of IV lines and transfusions is preferred.
