A Day in the Life of an RN - Interventional Spine Clinic
The RN in the Interventional Spine Clinic plays a critical role in coordinating and providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing pain management procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and management of equipment, supplies, and medications for surgical pain cases, ensuring all are readily available and tailored to individual patient needs.
- Strong collaboration with surgeons, peri-operative nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes and streamline inter-operative processes.
- Effective communication to ensure seamless interfaces between the clinic, surgery, and nursing services to support the updating and management of case and preference cards.
- Participation in patient education, help managing clinic schedules, and adapting to the fluctuating needs of both clinic and surgical environments.

Qualifications
- Education and Experience Required:
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Current Minnesota RN license
- PREFERRED:
- Two years clinical experience in pain care
- Bachelor of science/art in nursing
Compensation And Benefits
The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
