About the role
Provide direct nursing care in a Stepdown Intermediate Care/PCU setting, ensuring patient safety and well‑being.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Communicate patient conditions to the care team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders.
- Assist with discharge planning.
Key Duties
- Deliver compassionate patient care.
- Monitor and record patient conditions.
- Serve as a primary care coordinator.
- Facilitate effective discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi‑state license.
- BLS certification required within one month of hire.
- Education: diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure at the time of hire.
