RN - Inpatient Department , Float Poot/HS/ED(PRN) - NIGHT SHIFTs are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. RN - Inpatient Department , Float Poot/HS/ED(PRN) - NIGHT SHIFTs are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op.

Responsibilities

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/managers/supervisors and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. 3 years nursing experience, Med-Surg, ED, Charge Nurse/and or House Supervisor roles preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Current Texas Nursing License
  • 2 years' previous experience in Med-Surg preferred
  • Telemetry training preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
  • PALS Obtained within 1 year of employment
