*** Registered Nurse Float - PRN and Full Time - Night Shift ***
Job Summary
Join Our Caring and Compassionate Float Nursing Team. Due to our unprecented growth and constant desire to meet the needs of our community with an outstanding level of care, we are increasing our Ultimate Float team with additional team members being onboarded between August and October.
Job Summary And Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
- For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045)
- Require two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment
- Require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire
- Require National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within thirty (30) days of hire
- Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- RN: FL Registered Nurse License
Preferred License And Certs
- BSN: Bachelor of Science Nursing
- Prefer certification in nursing specialty area
