RN - Infusion (Full-Time, Days)

Compensation range: $55.93 - $79.75 per hour, based on applicable experience.

Shift: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 80 hours per pay period, variable days off. Sign-on bonus: up to $3,000.00.

About the role

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The emphasis in the clinic is on oncology and hematology patients; a good understanding of these disease conditions is required. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Chemotherapy certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Current CPR recognition

Qualifications

Desired

• One year of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting
• Recent Infusion clinic experience
• Recent Chemotherapy administration experience
• Current OCN certification

Skills

• Familiarity with venous access devices preferred
• Technical competence and professional clinical judgment
• Strong communication skills and sensitivity for patients and families in crisis
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position
