About the role
The Infusion Center at Piedmont Henry Hospital operates Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
- Functions within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Preferred: Advanced degree.
- No prior experience required; new graduates of nursing programs are eligible.
- Required: One year of experience in a hospital setting for PRN positions; preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).
