Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in an Intermediate Care Unit, focusing on patients from birth through the lifecycle. Responsibilities: The staff nurse utilizes nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. They maintain practice standards, coordinate care activities among staff, and deliver high-quality nursing services with professionalism and accountability. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing school (required); Bachelor's degree preferredNo experience required; new graduates are eligibleHospital experience is preferred; 1 year hospital experience for PRN rolesCurrent Georgia RN license and/or multistate licensure (required)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)Additional certifications in the specialty area are a plus
