About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role involves maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities for assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
• Work collaboratively within a team to deliver quality patient care.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state (Georgia) and/or multistate licensure (required).
• Current BCLS certification (required).
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates are eligible.
• Additional advanced certifications in specialty areas are beneficial.
