Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Intensive Care Unit/Telemetry patients.
• Promote continuity of care by providing direct patient care and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Aides, and other support staff.
• Interpret patient information to identify age‑specific needs.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
• Demonstrate the values outlined in the OMC and Nursing Department mission and philosophy statements.
• Support and promote a positive image of professional nursing and OMC.
• Provide care under a variety of circumstances, including occasional irregular hours.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of hospital experience preferred.
• Washington State RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.

Pay

Pay Range: $40.37 – $72.25 per hour

• Evening shift differential: $3.00/hour
• Night shift differential: $5.00/hour
• Weekend shift differential: $4.50/hour
• Standby premium: $4.00/hour
• Charge premium: $3.25/hour
• Float premium: $2.50/hour
• Per Diem: 15% of rate of pay (in lieu of benefits)
• Certification premium: $2.00/hour
• Preceptor premium: $2.00/hour
