RN - ICU Step Down / Nights (12 hrs)
About the Role
This is a part-time position for 12 hours per week in the ICU Step Down unit at Mercy Hospital - W Memorial Rd. The high-energy 32-bed unit is part of the critical care service line, serving patients transitioning out of Intensive Care and/or patients requiring a higher level of care. The unit specializes in a higher acuity population, primarily comprised of neurological, medical, and surgical patients. As a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program, the unit has a neurological specialty.
Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school (Required)
- BSN preferred, but ADN is acceptable
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
