Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in ICU and Telemetry for per diem hospital assignments in Halifax, VA. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing nurses to select shifts that suit their lifestyle, including day (7:00 AM-7:00 PM) and night (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality care in an acute-care setting
- Patient assessment, monitoring, documentation, and medication administration
- Collaboration with healthcare teams
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and follow safety protocols
- Educate patients and families
- Maintain accurate records
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- At least one year of recent ICU or Telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past year
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
