RN-ICU Nurse Manager

About the Role

This role involves developing, administering, and leading nursing and patient care activities within designated areas. It requires collaborating with the nursing team to support organizational strategies, standardize systems, improve efficiencies, and oversee financial aspects of nursing programs and services. The position focuses on integrating performance improvement initiatives, advancing strategic nursing projects, and enhancing communication to achieve nursing goals while promoting satisfaction among patients, physicians, and staff. The role also involves working with various hospital departments to implement nursing integration, service line development, and standardized practices. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare issues, trends, legal compliance, managed care, and nursing operations.
• Ability to foster collaborative partnerships for service and program development.
• RN licensure required; specialty certification preferred.
