RN - ICU - Nights

Position Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights, and upholds confidentiality in alignment with organizational standards and values.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license for the state or compact licensing, meeting all board requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, or specialized unit certifications may be required based on the department.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform bending, reaching, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate care quality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a compassionate manner.
