Role Overview
This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a hospital setting. The nurse will apply specialized training to deliver compassionate, whole-person care, supporting patients' physical and emotional needs. The role requires ensuring safety, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care and monitoring health status
- Administering medications and treatments according to protocols
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensuring safety and compliance with healthcare standards
- Educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
