RN ICU FT Nights

Shift/Schedule: Full Time Nights, 3/12 hr. shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ICU patients including Medical and Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Sepsis, Cardiac, and Vascular populations
• Patient ratio: 1:2
• Participate in daily shift team huddles and shift reports
• Conduct bedside shift reporting and purposeful rounding
• Engage in multi-disciplinary rounding
• Provide clinical support to different departments (Code Team, Rapid Response Team, Staff Training and Education, Floating)
• Participate in Diversity and Inclusion projects
• Contribute to unit initiatives such as Unit Based Employee of the Month, birthday celebrations, Unit Practice Council, and Clinical Practice Council

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, and laws
• Proficiency in medical terminology, disease prevention, management, and common medications
• Respect for medical ethics and patient privacy rights
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, electronic medical documentation, and scheduling systems

• Experience: 2 Years of Experience
• Certification/License/Registration: Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS)
