RN - ICU, 7p to 7a (HCMC)
Location: Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Columbia, MD 21044
Schedule: Night Shift, Full Time, 36 hours per week

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is an acute care community hospital with 262 beds, part of the prestigious Johns Hopkins Health System. We combine world-class clinical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care. Our hospital features a highly specialized community-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Special Care Unit (SCU) dedicated to adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and care after surgery or due to medical conditions, including cardiac care.
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will care for critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical problems. Darlene Norton, Nurse Manager, oversees the ICU, Special Care Unit (IMCU), Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac Cath Nursing. She is a mentor who supports the professional growth of RNs and has a demonstrated track record of effective leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intensive care, including post-surgical and cardiac patients.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required). Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred). Applicants with an associate degree must matriculate into a BSN program per nursing guidelines.
- RN - Registered Nurse License (Required).
- CPR - Basic CPR (Required).
- Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required).
- 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred).
- 1 year of Critical Care/ICU experience (Preferred).

Pay
Salary Range: $37.13/hour - $57.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and equity for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
