RN House Supervisor – FT Days
About the role
Serves as a resource and consultant for the clinical nursing care being rendered for the hospital. Provides and oversees nursing care, safety, and quality while maintaining hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Maintains approved standards of patient care, by collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Aids in disciplinary issues, staff mentoring, and performance appraisals.
- Oversees the hospital in collaboration with and in the absence of the CNO.
- Effectively communicates on multiple levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirements: Valid State RN License is required. BLS and ACLS are required at hire.
- Prior clinical management experience is preferred.
- BSN is preferred.
