RN - Hospice Full Time Days

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes, following physician orders and adhering to nursing standards. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive end-of-life and palliative care, including pain management and supportive measures.Assess patient conditions, monitor symptoms, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Document care accurately within electronic medical records in a timely manner. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an approved nursing program and current licensure in the state of practice.CPR certification and valid driver’s license.Preferred hospice or long-term care experience, with knowledge of death, dying, and bereavement issues.Strong assessment, observation, communication, and computer skills.Self-directed, flexible, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
