RN Home Health Registered Nurse

BJC Home Care is seeking a home health registered nurse to provide 1:1 patient care in an under-served community. The role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to build meaningful relationships with patients in a supportive team environment. For more information, visit here.

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotations every 4th 4 to 6 on-call nights per month. Holiday requirements: 2 per year.

Location

Glen Carbon, IL and surrounding areas including Alton/Godfrey.

Position Requirements

• Must be willing to provide coverage in all St. Louis regions during on-call
• Must be registered with the Family Care Safety Registry

Role Purpose

Evaluates the client and furnishes services requiring substantial and specialized skill, appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and instructions to assist the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience as a supervisor
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/Home Health preferred
