About the role

This position services the Zeeland area of Home Care. The Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central areas of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients.
• Affords the opportunity to assess, monitor, detect, plan, and take appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
• Treats patients in the comfort of their home, enabling them to thrive and own their own health care.
• Creates personalized assignments close to home that enable nurses to visit between 5-7 patients per shift.
• Works in Ludington, Baldwin, Nunica, Kent County, Ottawa County, and Gun Lake.

Requirements

• Associate in Nursing Required
• Bachelor’s in Nursing Required within 5 years
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• MI Driver’s License Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Qualifications

• Experience as an RN
• New Graduates

Pay

Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus available.

Schedule

Day shift, variable weekend frequency, 24 hours of work per week, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
