About the role
Contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree; H.S. Diploma/GED
- Work Experience: Responsibilities include assessing patient's status, developing an individualized plan of care, implementing interventions, evaluating progress, documenting, demonstrating professional accountability, troubleshooting equipment, maintaining current knowledge, sharing clinical knowledge, promoting patient and staff safety, performing patient bedside lab testing, collaborating with the health care team, assessing and choosing teaching strategies, participating in data collection, analysis, and problem solving, ensuring care consistency with standards, evidence-based practices, and quality initiatives.
Skills
Demonstrates technical knowledge of equipment, demonstrates a practical problem-solving approach to patient moving and handling issues, possesses knowledge and skills necessary to obtain adequate lab specimens, performs patient bedside lab testing, collaborates with the health care team, assures care consistency with standards, evidence-based practices, and quality initiatives.

The compensation range for this position is $36.8 per hour - $59.89 per hour.
