RN - Full Time Overnights
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues, and coordinating care. This position requires a graduate degree in nursing, preferably from a nationally accredited program, and a current RN license. The RN must also obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents
- Collaborates with resident and family members, other healthcare professionals, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, educates residents, and implements various nursing interventions
- Serves as charge nurse and delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of practice
- Ensures the safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolves care and service concerns
- Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules
Requirements
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Multistate licensure in NLC states may be required
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Pay
$32.50 - $48.00 per hour, with a $25,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!
Schedule
Full time, 36 weekly hours, 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends and holidays.
Department Details
This position works the hours of 6:00am - 6:30pm, including every third weekend and rotating holidays. The facility offers long-term care, skilled nursing services, in-house dialysis, post-acute care, and restorative therapy. Nearly all residents enjoy private rooms and bathrooms.
