About the role
The Evans Freestanding Emergency Room at Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Achieves patient pain management through regular assessments and interventions.
- Performs necessary procedures, monitoring, and other tasks as directed by medical providers.
- Documents care in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.
- Communicates effectively with patients/families/caregivers, teaching them about their conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures.
- Anticipates and resolves patient needs proactively.
Requirements
- Current ACLS, BLCS, ENPC, or PALS certification within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least 1 year of prior emergency room RN experience.
