RN Float Pool Nurse - Mother/Baby

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in women and infants units, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women’s Care, and NICU, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, safe, and effective care by applying the nursing process.
• Prioritize patient wellness and support a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Act as a preceptor to new healthcare staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold standards set by professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid RN license.
• Relevant certification.
• At least 6 months of women and infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
• BLS certification required; NRP preferred within 6 months of hire.
