RN Float Pool Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in Women and Infants units, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes safety and evidence-based care.
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff.
• Contributes to secure quality at the point of care.
• Provides care in units such as Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, and NICU, adhering to standards from AWHONN and AACN.
• Participates in ongoing education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.

Requirements

• RN licensure.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• 6 months of Women and Infants nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications: BLS and NRP (required).
• Additional certifications such as RNC-OB or C-EFM (preferred).
