Diploma/GED Key Responsibilities Perform unit-specific duties, implement procedures, and maintain accurate documentation of patient careConduct initial patient assessments and develop, implement, and modify care plans based on patient and family needsEnsure safety for patients and staff, report hazards, and address incidentsCommunicate effectively with team members, offer feedback, and support peer developmentFulfill departmental competencies and float across inpatient units such as Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, and ICUsProvide direct patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document assessments and interventionsPrecept staff and coordinate care to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
