RN - Float Pool

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing direct patient care in various inpatient units, including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs. They perform initial assessments, develop, implement, and modify individualized care plans, and ensure accurate documentation of nursing care. Key duties include promoting patient and employee safety, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and offering mentorship to staff. Qualifications include a valid RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, an associate’s degree or nursing diploma, and at least 2 years of inpatient RN experience. Skills required involve strong communication, clinical assessment, care coordination, and the ability to adapt to different clinical settings.
