RN Fellowship - L&D Nights

About the Role

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary Labor & Delivery department. Deliver evidence-based nursing practice, prioritize patient wellness, and precept new staff. Work across units including Mother/Baby, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU, adhering to standards such as AWHONN and AACN. Support safety, quality, and positive patient outcomes at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Promote safety and quality in all aspects of patient care.
• Support ongoing education, competency validation, and professional growth.
• Precept new staff and model proficiency in clinical practice.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid RN licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months of RN experience.
• Certification in C-EFM within one year of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Relevant specialty certifications preferred.
