About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary Labor & Delivery department. Deliver evidence-based nursing practice, prioritize patient wellness, and precept new staff. Work across units including Mother/Baby, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU, adhering to standards such as AWHONN and AACN. Support safety, quality, and positive patient outcomes at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.
- Promote safety and quality in all aspects of patient care.
- Support ongoing education, competency validation, and professional growth.
- Precept new staff and model proficiency in clinical practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN licensure.
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience.
- Certification in C-EFM within one year of hire.
- BLS certification.
- Relevant specialty certifications preferred.
