About the role

Provides direct patient care in a maternity setting, including Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Women’s Care, and NICU, utilizing evidence-based practices and adhering to standards such as AWHONN and AACN.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient safety and wellness
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff
• Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
• Supports clinical education and competency validation
• Contributes to a secure and high-quality care environment
• Delivers top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Engages in evidence-based practice and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes
• Supports team-based care and contributes to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license
• At least 6 months of RN experience
• Certification in C-EFM within one year of hire
• BLS certification
