Education & Experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience; if Nurse Resident, all residency requirements must be completed including clinical requirements
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Current RN licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Health care provider certification (BCLS)
