RN Emergency Room Seasonal
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in the Emergency Room at Medical City Dallas. Key responsibilities include assessing patient pain, performing procedures, documenting care, teaching patients/families/caregivers, and managing care.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse degree
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, or Satori Alternatives Management Agreement within 1 year of employment start date
Program Requirements
- Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period
- Four (4) weekend shifts required each 4 week schedule period
- Two (2) holiday shifts required during the 32-week period
- PRN status employees with no guaranteed hours
- No extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD)
