Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license from Arkansas or a Compact State required.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent nursing diploma preferred.
  • One year of nursing experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing recommended.

Qualifications

  • Competent understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered Care.
  • Safe and effective nursing care at a competent level.
  • Compliance with policies, procedures, professional practice standards, state practice act/rules and regulations.
  • Competent technical and procedural nursing skills.
  • Meaningful clinical documentation and complete hand-offs.
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Competent assessment and response to patient and family needs.
  • Development of and adherence to the plan of care.
  • Documentation of patient and family education activities.
  • Evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence, patient preferences, and team expertise.
  • Accountability for patient care quality.
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentoring, coaching, and teaching healthcare professionals and students.
