About the Role
This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings. The nurse collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, ensuring high-quality care through critical thinking, compassionate practice, and adherence to nursing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Provide age-appropriate care
- Develop and evaluate patient education plans
- Assist with procedures and technical tasks
- Address psychosocial and discharge needs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Promote patient safety and cost-efficient practices
- Engage in lifelong learning to enhance nursing skills
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Computer literacy
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS/PALS certifications
