About the Role

Provides direct and indirect patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to restore health while respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, ensuring safe and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed and assists with procedures requiring technical skills.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans, including psychosocial support.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Promotes patient safety by minimizing risks and practicing cost-effective resource use.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning.
• Demonstrates ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS/PALS certifications.
