RN - Emergency - Level II Trauma - Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated RN for our Emergency Department within a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and EDAP. This full-time role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing specialized care in a multi-disciplinary environment recognized for excellence with awards like the Lantern Award.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate emergency care to diverse patient populations
• Apply clinical skills and protocols in a fast-paced setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and hospital policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and a valid California RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire
• At least 1 year of nursing experience; emergency department experience and specialty certification preferred
