About the role

We are searching for a talented RN for the Emergency Department at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This is a 36-hour evening shift position (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) with weekend and holiday rotation. The Emergency Department is a 35-bed unit with 8 behavioral beds, serving approximately 60,000 patients per year. We are a community hospital dedicated to providing inclusive care to patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced, supportive, and dynamic environment.

$5,000 New Hire Sign-On Bonus for candidates with 2+ years of RN Emergency Department experience. Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Deliver care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent (required).
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Three (3) months of experience is preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required prior to the completion of orientation.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the exemption.

Pay

Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience. Pay Range: USD $42.37 – USD $77.81 per hour.
