About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and patient monitoring, including detection and recognition of acute changes, and escalation of concerns or critical results.
• Administration and monitoring of therapeutic interventions and regimens, such as starting/maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication per patients' rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown, and following safety policies.
• Effective management of rapidly changing situations, including identifying, assessing, and anticipating patient needs.
• Organization and work rule competencies, such as prioritizing, coordinating, and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner.
• Helping role: consistently contribute to a healing environment, provide patient comfort and support for human dignity, serve as a patient advocate, and build and maintain a therapeutic environment.
• Teaching-coaching function: assess and evaluate a patient's readiness and ability to learn, explain a patient's condition, and interpret their illness.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent, upon hire.
• Completion of an accredited Nursing Program, upon hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Tennessee, upon hire.
• AHA Basic Life Support - CPR certification, upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, within 120 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, within 120 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher, upon hire.

Pay

$30.00 - $43.05 per hour.
