About the role
This position serves as a unit educator, master clinician, and preceptor in a Medical/Cardiac ICU setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational leadership and develop evidence-based patient care plans
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff on equipment and procedures
- Assist patients and caregivers with health management
- Maintain clinical skills by instructing nursing students and supporting staffing needs
- Deliver safe, specialized patient care across diverse age groups
- Administer medications and coordinate treatment activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN or MSN)
- 18 months of relevant experience
- RN licensure
- CPR/BLS certification
- Unit-specific instructor certifications within 90 days of hire
