Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff to ensure clinical competence and regulatory compliance.
- Provide orientation and onboarding education for new nursing employees.
- Conduct ongoing in-service training on clinical skills, policies, procedures, and best practices in resident care.
- Assess staff learning needs and develop targeted training programs to address knowledge gaps.
- Monitor and evaluate staff competency and provide coaching or remediation as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory survey preparedness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of training, competencies, and educational activities.
- Utilize PCC (PointClickCare) systems to support documentation, training, and reporting needs.
- Support a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence across the nursing team.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or related healthcare setting required.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
