About the role

Part-time opportunity available at Berlin Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. The RN Educator develops, implements, and evaluates education programs that support nursing staff competency, compliance, and quality outcomes, guided by the core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff to ensure clinical competence and regulatory compliance.
• Provide orientation and onboarding education for new nursing employees.
• Conduct ongoing in-service training on clinical skills, policies, procedures, and best practices in resident care.
• Assess staff learning needs and develop targeted training programs to address knowledge gaps.
• Monitor and evaluate staff competency and provide coaching or remediation as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory survey preparedness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of training, competencies, and educational activities.
• Utilize PCC (PointClickCare) systems to support documentation, training, and reporting needs.
• Support a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence across the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory experience in a nursing care center, hospital, or related healthcare setting.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) required.
