About the role
Provide direct, high-level nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, including trauma and level 1 trauma designation care, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope patient care using the nursing process
- Prioritize patient safety and quality care
- Precept and mentor new staff and promote evidence-based practices
- Contribute to positive patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical setting
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent if less than 3 years' experience
- Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience
- Certifications including BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or ATCN, ACLS, Trauma Nurse Core Course, and NIH Stroke Scale within specified timeframes
