About the Role
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. They function within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Responsibilities

- Function within the organization’s policies and procedures.
- Maintain standards of nursing practice.

Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.
Qualifications
- No prior work experience required; new graduates eligible.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- 1 year in a hospital setting preferred for PRN positions.
