RN - ED - Full Time - Nights (6:30pm-7:00am)

About the role

Mercy Hospital Washington’s 26‑bed Emergency Department serves the community 24/7. It is the only trauma‑rated and pediatric ED in the area, with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:4. The team is supported by patient care techs, paramedics, and patient support associates, and is described as motivated, hardworking, and united.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
• Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards

Requirements

• Current RN license (or compact license)
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or obtained within 30 days), plus unit‑specific certifications
• Must live within 45 minutes of Mercy Hospital Washington
• Experienced nurses only

Schedule

Full‑time, 36 hours per week. Shift: 6:30 pm – 7:00 am.

Pay

• Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses
• Stay Premium Program: earn up to $8/hour extra based on years of Mercy service
• Shift differentials
• Weekend option differential: $20/hour
