RN Direct Care Nurse

Overview

1 year of OR or plastic experience strongly preferred. 1 year of pre- and post-operative care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments
• Design and implement personalized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team
• Coordinate patient care
• Provide education to patients and families
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Observe changes in patient conditions
• Respond promptly with appropriate interventions
• Utilize sound clinical judgment
• Consult with medical team members as needed
• Document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Ensure patient safety
• Contribute to a supportive and empathetic environment
• Perform competent level of nursing care using the nursing process
• Maintain clinical knowledge and skills
• Meet and maintain additional Life Support requirements as defined by the clinical area

Requirements

• ASN or higher degree required
• RN license required
• Additional Life Support requirements must be met within 90 days of hire
