The Dickinson Walk In Clinic is a fast‑paced environment caring for patients across the lifespan, offering variety every day. It is part of Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, located at Dickinson West Clinic, 2615 Fairway St, Dickinson, ND 58601. The clinic is open Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and weekends 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Schedule

Shift: 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Part time, approximately 24 hours per week. Premium pay applies for every third weekend or holiday worked.

Pay

Salary range: $29.50 – $44.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized patient care.
• Coordinate care, perform patient assessment, provide patient education, conduct triage, and deliver various nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter‑professional team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, applying age‑ and population‑specific standards.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice per the state Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
• Adhere to the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice, which bases care on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure accepted if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain any department‑specific licensure, competencies, and certifications required.
