RN | Day Shift

Job Summary

The RN position in our Inpatient units at Bakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking, teamwork, and excellent communication. We are seeking someone who demonstrates sound leadership skills, possesses high-quality clinical and interpersonal skills, and has a thorough understanding of psych and psychotropic medications.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• A current California RN License
• A current CPR certification
• Past experience in a mental healthcare hospital environment
• Basic knowledge of treatment procedures and psychotropic medications
• Organizational and time management skills
• Crisis intervention skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Qualifications

• Fluency in medical terminology
