About the role
Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a talented Registered Nurse (RN) with CVOR experience for a full-time, contract, temporary position in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the CVOR setting.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance clinical skills.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-surgery.
- Utilize performance metrics to improve personal and team outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.
- Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patients.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times.
- Contribute to team meetings and share best practices.
Requirements
- Current RN license with CVOR experience preferred.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and training.
- Proven ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.
- Experience in maintaining sterile environments and adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient and family interactions.
- Experience collaborating with surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Familiarity with performance metrics to enhance team outcomes.
- Experience with documenting patient care activities accurately.
- Ability to assist in developing tailored care plans for patients.
- Commitment to adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required: Associate degree in nursing.
- Required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, or Red Cross licenses.
- Required: Registered Nurse state of Alabama or compact license.
- Preferred: 2 years experience; however, 18 months of experience may be considered.
