About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Works within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness, safety, and quality of care. Supports clinical education by precepting new healthcare staff and continuously welcomes new knowledge in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in ICU, following AACN’s Synergy Model and specialty standards.
• Participate in individualized education and competency validation with clinical educators.
• Contribute to patient safety, clinical excellence, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized organizations, valid through sixty days of employment.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
