About the role

This position is for an ICU Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process in the ICU setting.
• Support and mentor team members, including precepting new staff.
• Contribute to patient safety, quality care, and clinical excellence.
• Engage in continuous learning and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or approved RN program with active state licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a specialized fellowship.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days post-hire.
• Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice.

Key Duties

• Provide comprehensive ICU care supporting specialty standards and evidence-based models.
• Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Model proficiency and foster a collaborative, patient-centered care environment.
